STRENGTH OF HER SOUL
She is not your typical anything, but somehow she's uniquely everything. She realized she would have to either speak the truth as she sees it, or learn to despise herself. And while standing in that truth, hatred inevitably rears its ugly head. Attacked and assaulted, stripped of her dignity, and left broken in body... but not in spirit. And so she begins what will turn out to be the fight of her life. This is a woman backed into a corner... and your error is in thinking she is too weak to fight back, even while she struggles to find her feet under her. Why do you fondle her trigger, and then blame her gun?
Her weapon is her pen, and with it, she will win her war. For these are wars of both body and mind, and she lives through them in spite of herself. The flashbacks that she's burdened with will likely never end. Her scars are not reminders of her pain, they are symbols of her strength. And when her fight threatens to overwhelm, and her emotions overrun, BE WHO YOU ARE' she remembers... for that is the only thing at stake. They will continue to err in judging her whole based on her parts, and when they do she will take solace in knowing that the strength of her soul was born of moments like this...when she is brought to her knees.
Get up, babygirl. Get up.
