Disclaimer:  My writing, and in particular my poetry, is raw, emotional, and speaks to the truth of being a Transgender woman.  Readers who are easily offended by colourful language or slang- even words that are typically used as slurs or insults, should be aware that I do use them on occasion- on this site, and in this context. As a Transwoman,  I do not condone or support the use of derogatory, insulting, or hurtful language directed at anyone. I support the right of individual free speech...just not hate speech. However, many Transwomen are subjected to this kind of language and treatment. As an activist and advocate for Transgender Rights, I will not shy away from the intersection of my art and my reality as a writer and a poetess.
